Folks, it’s time for another challenge…in fact we are long overdue! September is the first ever Marathon Nation “Monthly Marathon Challenge”. By playing along, you’ll complete four individual 6.55 mile runs over the course of four consecutive weekends…the cumulative time for all four runs is your “monthly marathon” score.
When: Weekends in the Month of September.
What: Run 6.55 miles once a weekend for four weekends, for time. The cumulative time is your “monthly marathon” score.
Who: Anyone who wants in! All our support is for Marathon Nation members only, but anyone can play along by logging their results and putting their smack talk on the MN Facebook Page. If you want to explore the Team you can create a free Five Day trial here.
Step 1: Register Online
Sign up here and we’ll add you to a tracking sheet and then email you further instructions on how to log your results, etc.
Step 2: Challenge Your Friends!
Go to Facebook or Twitter (or pick up the phone) and see if you can’t get a friend or two to play along for some bragging rights.
Step 3: Start Running!
The fun kicks off the weekend of September 4/5 with our first run. Start running, time your 6.55 miles and then enter your data into the table. Each week we’ll pick two lucky winners to get some running schwag!

Since I started late, can I take my 1/2 marathon time + the next two weekends for my “full” marathon time?
@Joanne, TOTALLY! That’s what I am doing. And be sure to take the six BEST miles.

e.g. I have a half marathon on Sat., can I take the time from 6.55 of those 13.1 miles?
